Graveyard Keeper 2 was released on September 22, 2026. It is now a full released game, not an upcoming launch or an Early Access build. Lazy Bear Games developed it and tinyBuild published it.

Demo is not Early Access
A pre-release demo let players sample the game before September 22. That trial and a pre-order purchase did not establish a paid Early Access programme. The present store and launch announcement describe the full released game.
What the game includes
As the Grand Inquisitor, you still manage a graveyard, but also restore the Town, automate production and lead an undead army into battle. The official description includes fortifications, crafted weapons and armour, and zombie labour. Those workers are game-controlled helpers, not additional human players.
Current release status
The latest Steam announcement checked on October 14 is Update 1.010, published October 13 (UTC). It fixes quest progression and several stuck-character cases, among other issues. A Steam patch announcement does not establish that every console or PC storefront has the same build number; check the version installed on your platform.
