Weapons and armor support both the Keeper and zombie fighters in Graveyard Keeper 2. The official combat overview confirms equipped troops, archers, barricades, towers and potion-supported personal fighting. It does not supply the previously asserted Rusty Blade/Inquisitor’s Sword ranking, a universal armor-weight penalty or an Inquisitor set bonus.

Choose equipment for the objective
First decide what the encounter asks you to do. Holding the Town Square against waves differs from advancing on several fronts to capture control points. Prepare the available equipment and defenses around that task, and keep your squad placement in mind. A ranged force needs a useful line of attack; a barricade strategy needs to cover the actual approach. These are tactical choices, not a confirmed item-stat ranking.
Before crafting, inspect the weapon or armor recipe in the current station. Verify the technology, perk, mastery and station-extension requirements it actually lists. Do not buy ingredients for a named set merely because an older general guide supplied a plausible recipe. Exact damage, armor values, costs and upgrade paths need item-level evidence.
A specific confirmed unlock fix
Steam PC 1.007 corrected Tempering Expert so its Mastery bonus applies and Master Armor/sword crafting unlocks work. If one of those recipes is missing, check your installed version and the actual perk state before assuming you need a different invented “Undead Command” branch. This patch does not publish a full recipe database or guarantee the same build on every console.
Keep cosmetics separate
Platform-related preorder outfits are cosmetic bonus content. Their existence does not establish combat statistics or command buffs. A past preorder entitlement also should not be promised for a new purchase after launch. Check the content owned on your account.
